Previous leadership roles have included Division Chief; Medical Director and VP Medical Affairs for health plans; ER and Hospitalist Director. He has extensive experience in primary care and emergency medicine. Dr. Ishmael received his medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and an MBA from Purdue University. He completed his residency in family medicine at Methodist Hospitals in Gary\, Indiana\, and a fellowship at the University of North Carolina\, Chapel Hill.
